This shoot was a bit different to normal ... first one when my make-up has been more natural and I love it! It is one of my faves so far. Clothing is by Saskia, photography by Carmen Rose and Make-up by Jina Byun.

Jewelry Display
After reading a pair and a spare I found some amazing ideas for holiday DIY tasks! I always seem to get bored of holidays, but I think a list of DIY jobs could help the slow days move a little faster. Of all the incredible posts, I found this one to be the most inspiring, probably because it combines my love for interiors and fashion. Origionaly sourced at The Glitter Guide is this wall hanging system for beautiful jewelry. I currently have my jewels stacked on hangers behind my door, but I'm still not happy! This idea could transform my jewelry collection in to a master piece.
I was also thinking that maybe a collection of crystal knobs could be a substitute for this intricate branch-like system (that would be hard to source). The following knobs can be found at Anthropologie
Shoes I want and need
High heels, $124
ALDO high heels, $88
Zara pointed shoes, $90
Zara heel sandals, $50
So I've been making a mental collection of the shoes I desperately want! and so I thought why not make these dreams that little bit more real by posting a picture of all my dream shoes together. ahhhhh heaven!
FROM THE TOP LADIES
First up is the Top shop sandal shoes ... slightly impractical because it's winter here still, but honestly I just can't resist that to die for metallic heel. Picture this. those shoes, waxed black denim J-brands, plain white T and a black fur vest. simple sophistication.
Across from that are the Zara black Sandals, also impractical. However, this style is so very trending at the moment, and because the heel isn't too high, there's no platform and there is an ankle strap, I think you could get away with wearing these anywhere all the time. A timeless shoe that you'd have in your wardrobe forever.
This next shoe shocked me. I love the new Preen designs with the intricate pattern and pixillation of the print. amazing! And then to find out that these shoes i've been lusting over ... are ALDO!!! what?!?! so so so cheap! These shoes in summer with white jeans and a plain white T and blazer
Then we have the Mango heels with awesome perspex fluro heel. If only these could be bought in Australia :(
Last but not least the steel cap Zara pumps. On top of the fashion trends at the moment are steel capped shoes and pointy pumps. combine the two and you get shoes to die for. My Mum claims that these would be super uncomfortable but I claim they would be super awesome!
So first up to buy? Top Shop sandals!!

Green with envy
I'm totally in love with this store at the moment! I've been going in frequently lately to try and decide what I wanted, and then!!! SALE! So of course I bought the things I've been eyeing off. With a purchase 2 get 30% off deal I couldn't resist the $700 Nicholas leather and wool jacket and the red waxed j brand jeans! So fun! Sadly they were out of my size in my fave josh goot skirt, so it will have to wait til next time
Japanese pop star
So apart from photo shoots and intense study of interior architecture, I also sing ... In Japanese! Yesterday I hand my second Japanese performance, in front of over 1,000 people! I sang with my friend Rose who is an incredible pianist! Bellow are some pictures from the day :)
Verity photo shoot
Yesterday was a super busy day! I'm surprised I even managed to fit in writing an essay (which was certainly my low-light of the day). I had a photo shoot with another student from white house university. We shot her 3 past mini collections inspired by tea parties, flocks of birds and sun goddesses! My favorite was the beautiful brights from the sun collection, I even got to wear a bright blue jumpsuit! Bellow are some behind the scenes shots, but when the final images are ready they'll be up!

Oink
My room is an absolute pig sty! In needs a huge clean up! But more importantly my closet needs an overhaul! Tidy time is in order. Usually I organize my closet by garment type but this time I'm thinking... Color co-ordination. With color being huge in fashion at the moment and more specifically color on color and prints on prints, I think it's important I arrange my wardrobe so I can see all my colors. Task to do when I'm not busy? (so never?) this week is super hectic. I'm on mission homework and get cute guy AND I have 3 photoshoots AND I'm singing at a Japanese seminar (in japanese). No time for a closet refresher this week. Maybe when it's holidays?

Skater Photo Shoot
The inspiration for the shoot was a skate theme, with two confused friends (possibly lovers). I think my styling worked out well (yay) and Georgie Brearley's photography is great. Clothes are a combination of bought and made (tartan skirt made by me). It was a hot day and boy I don't know how people skate when it's that hot! The bowls getting boiling!

Winter Snuggles! (styling)
Finally the edited photos have come through from the shoot I styled! EEEKKK so exciting! On a slightly chilly day I think it was the perfect weather for a knit shoot. Clothes range from Scanlan and Theodore to Country Road and Witchery. Effortless winter style with an edge

Things I want
There are so many things I want right now! probably because I'm trying so very hard to distract myself from doing my uni work... Which I'll do after this, or maybe after a bit of internet shopping?
The Dannijo Bracelet front and centre is just one of many beautiful pieces that they have. All with a bigger price tag than I can afford (sadly). However, after some hunting I found Juicy Couture do some similar bracelets, not as nice but pretty close! and they are on sale at the moment :D WIN
Of course there is some Josh Goot, my one true love. I will have to save up for this $400 skirt, but it's worth it. His stuff always is.
I also really want a beanie with a pom pom! They are so terribly cute!
Now back to my homework -_-

YOONIE
Photo shoot for a design student 'Yoonie' from White House institute! Her designs were incredible and I'm so lucky she found me! Her inspiration for her designs were trees and she used a lot of earthy tones in her work. I just wish it wasn't so hot the day we shot!

GRUMPY CUPCAKES
The cutest brunch snack date with my boyfriend possible. This cupcake shop in Melbourne CBD is called 'little cupcakes' and they sell the most adorably delicious cupcakes! I couldn't help but buy two a chock mint and tiny teddy. If only I could make cupcakes this cute!

Pink POP
This is an old outfit from winter '11 and I'm pretty positive I wore it to uni (university). I like that it's bright and fun even though it was super cold outside, who can resist a pop of pink to liven up the day?
Excuse my messy room :S

Contrast Nails
I got my nails done! Inspired from a photo shoot in Japan Vogue about contrast (black and white). They are Shellac, a new UV nail product that hardly chips! It's amazing :) The design was created using layering to produce the crescents of black and white which interchange. It's a pretty out there design and I'm pretty sure my boyfriend hates it, but why not have a bit of fun before I have to go back to work?!

New blog ... again
I started a blog last year, but it was becoming impersonal and sort of boring. So I figure something more personal may keep me more interested ... right? lets hope so
